Monzo Introduce Premium Account ‘Monzo Plus’ & Travel Insurance

Monzo Plus

App-based banking service Monzo have gone live with a new premium account called Monzo Plus.

Previously launched as a small-scale trial in February, the account provides access to a small but growing suite of premium upgrades.

Initially users get access to:

  • A Monzo Plus card (in Hot Coral or one of the new colours, Midnight Sky or Lagoon Blue)
  • A custom Monzo.me link
  • Access to Monzo Plus events and swag

The account provides access to optional additional services, currently travel insurance at Β£4 per month, and upgraded travel ATM allowance/emergency cash if you lose your card at Β£3 per month.

Initially the cost of Monzo Plus will be Β£3 per month, rising to Β£6 per month later this year.
